Rain, Wet Conditions Prompt Postponement of Series Opener at Illinois

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- After a heavy overnight rain and with persisting wet and chilly conditions, the No. 2-ranked University of Michigan softball team's series opener at Illinois on Saturday (April 16) has been postponed and rescheduled as part of a Sunday (April 17) doubleheader that will begin at noon CDT at Eichelberger Field.
The Wolverines have yet to lose a game to weather this season.
