Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On tonight's game ... "I thought the game had its ebbs and flows. I thought Ohio State had the edge in the first period and then we came back and had a strong second period, got back in the game and maybe had the momentum. Disappointing in the third period -- that next goal was a huge goal. I think it was a faceoff goal that gave them the lead. Then we were playing from behind and just couldn't find a way to do it. Obviously it was a good game, hard-fought, and it could have gone either way."
On if Michigan had the advantage before OSU broke the 2-2 tie ... "I thought we had the momentum in the game. You've got to capitalize on your chances and I don't think we did that tonight. We did have enough chances to win the game, but when you're playing from behind it's harder to score. I thought we had a good game. We have to play better, obviously. We gave up goals we can't give up to a team like that."
U-M Sophomore Forward Luke Glendening
On what his goal, U-M's first, did for the team ... "We needed a goal at that time. [The puck] got thrown around the boards and the [defenseman] stepped up and it went past him. It started our momentum, but it obviously wasn't enough."
On falling behind 2-0 ... "We stayed pretty positive on the bench. We're confident. We stumbled a little bit out of the game, but we're a confident team. We were down 2-0, but it didn't seem to faze us much."
