Series Notes
All-time, Michigan falls to 64-30-11 vs. Ohio State. In Columbus, U-M is 27-15-5.
Louie Caporusso notched the 10th point of his career vs. OSU with an assist tonight. He has 3-7-10 totals in five games against the Buckeyes.
Team Notes
Michigan upped its season-best penalty-kill streak to 20 chances after stopping all three OSU power plays tonight. Michigan has no't allowed a power-play goal in the last four games. U-M has 10 perfect games on the PK this season.
U-M recorded a power-play goal for the fifth straight game. Carl Hagelin scored Michigan's lone power-play tally on six chances.
Michigan lost for the first time this season when scoring at least three goals (7-1-0).
Player Notes
Carl Hagelin notched a goal and an assist to extend his point streak to four games, which ties a career-best run. He has four goals and two assists in the last four contests. Hagelin leads all Wolverines in goals (8) and points (14).
Chris Brown contributed a goal and an assist for his fourth multi-point game of the season. Brown and Hagelin each have four games with multiple points this fall.
Matt Rust notched two assists to stretch his point streak to three games (1-3-4).
Luke Glendening has goals in back-to-back games for the second time of his career. He scored shorthanded vs. Wisconsin last Saturday (Nov. 28). Glendening had three goals in U-M's two-game series vs. Nebraska-Omaha on Feb. 13-14, 2009.
