This is the first time Kohlmeier earned Big Ten Runner of the Week outright. On Sept. 13 she shared the award with Minnesota's Lauren Williams after directing the Wolverines to their first title of the season at the Great Meadows Invitational (Sept. 10).
Kohlmeier is trying to pick up where she left off in the 2004 season, when she finished third at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships while assisting Michigan to the title. Kohlmeier also contributed to the third straight U-M Big Ten championship with a seventh-place finish.
The Wolverines will travel to Rochester, Mich., to participate in the Michigan Intercollegiate on Friday (Oct. 7) at 4 p.m.
