Michigan Head Coach Mark Rosen
On the match ... "We've lost a lot of close games this season and it's tough to stay with it. We competed today and we didn't think too much. We did a good job interrupting their flow. In game two, we did not do that at all, but for the rest of the match we were able to keep them off balance to a degree."
On this match vs. the Northwestern loss ... "It was like night and day. We didn't trust each other last night against Northwestern, but tonight we all trusted each other. This is the best we've done with trusting each other all year. The setters trusted the hitters and the hitters trusted the setters."
U-M Sophomore Lyndsay Miller
On the match ... "Last night we had a long talk as a team and we decided to have fun and just play volleyball."
On what made tonight's match special ... "We were ready to win. That talk helped a lot. We played well, and beating a team as good as Wisconsin and playing well are two great things."
