Crumpton was named to the All-Great Lakes Region Second Team this year after earning first team honors in 1999. Crumpton successfully avoided the "sophomore slump" by notching seven goals and accounting for six assists in the 21 games she played this season, bringing her career total to 19 goals and 14 assists. A member of the 2000 All-Big Ten Second Team and Big Ten All-Tournament team, Crumpton scored two goals in two separate Michigan victories this season -- vs. Missouri on Sept. 10 and Butler on Oct. 29.
Beitel and Crumpton were voted to the All-Great Lakes Region team by coaches of 43 institutions in the Great Lakes area. The Michigan women's soccer team completed the 2000 season with a 13-9-1 record and a third-place finish in the Big Ten (6-3-1).
