BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. -- The University of Michigan women's golf squad closed its fall season with a seventh-place finish at the Bonita Bay Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame at Bonita Bay Club's Bay Island course. The Wolverines posted rounds of 315 and 316 to finish with a total of 631.
Freshman Misia Lemanski (Grosse Ile, Mich./Gross Ile HS) led the way for Michigan, shooting back-to-back rounds of 76 to post a 152 total and tie for sixth. A total of 76 golfers competed in the event, which was a six-count-four format.
Freshman Stephanie MacAdams (Lubbock, Texas/Coronado HS) finished in a tie for 15th pace (161), while freshman Bess Bowers (Bloomington, Ind./North HS) tied for 34th (161) and sophomore Trish Watkins (Darien, Conn./Darien HS) tied for 46th (165).
The Wolverines will get back to competition in the spring when they head to Dallas, Texas, Feb. 27-28, for the Midwest Classic at Hyatt Bear Creek Golf Club.
