Micah Simon is in his first season as the program's wide receivers coach in 2026.

Before joining the staff at U-M, Simon worked with offensive coordinator Jason Beck for three seasons, beginning in 2022 as an offensive analyst at Syracuse, before leading the wide receiver rooms at New Mexico in 2024 and with the Utes in 2025.

At New Mexico, Simon helped Luke Wysong achieve All-Mountain West recognition in a balanced passing attack that ranked fifth in the league at 230.7 yards per game. Wysong and Ryan Davis combined for 123 catches and 1,587 yards, and the passing game helped the Lobos to a top-25 scoring offense (33.5 points per game) in the FBS. Davis went on to lead Utah in receptions and yards in 2025 and earned All-Big 12 honorable mention recognition.

Simon began his coaching career in 2023 at the FCS level with Northern Colorado, following one season as an offensive analyst at Syracuse in 2022, where he worked with quarterbacks and wide receivers.

Simon played wide receiver at BYU (2015-19), appearing in 36 games. He earned his degree in exercise science. Following his playing career, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers and briefly with the BC Lions in the CFL.
