Outdoor Track & Field
• Threw a school-record 21.18m (69-6) in the shot put to finish runner-up at the Stars and Stripes Classic American Track League competition (July 9)
• Finished 6th at the U.S. Olympic Trials (June 18) in the shot put final with a mark of 20.97m (68-9.75), missing a berth for the Olympics by three spots.
• Threw 20.07m (65-10.25) in the shot put for 4th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 9-11) for first-team All-America honors and five points for Michigan.
• Threw 20.28m (66-6.5) in the shot put for the win at the NCAA East Preliminaries (May 26 & 28), quaifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships and becoming one of just two men in NCAA East Prelims history to throw 20.20m or farther twice in the same competition.
• Threw 19.99m (65-7) in the shot put for the win at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (May 14-16), winning the competition on his final throw with a tiebreaker.
• Threw 20.37m (66-10) in the shot put for 2nd at the B1G Len Paddock Open (May 8)
• Threw 20.70m (67-11) in the shot put for 2nd at the B1G Jesse Owens Classic (April 30-May 1)
• Threw 18.97m (62-2.75) in the shot put for 3rd at the B1G Husker Invitational (April 16-17), and threw 50.24m (164-10) for 6th in the discus.
• Threw 19.46m (63-10.25) in the shot put for 2nd at the B1G North Florida Invitational (April 2-3), and also won the open discus with a throw of 51.28m (168-3).

Outdoor Track & Field
• Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 outdoor season was not contested. To help prevent the spread of the virus, the University of Michigan suspended all athletic activities, including practices, effective March 12.
Indoor Track & Field
• Qualified as the nation's top seed to compete in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 13-14). Due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the championships were not contested.
• Defended his 2019 gold medal and took the 2020 national lead by throwing a school-record 21.02m (68-11.5) in the shot put for the win at the Big Ten Championships (Feb. 28-29). Scored 10 points for the team.
• Threw 20.19m (66-3) in the shot put for the win at the Vanderbilt Music City Challenge (Feb. 14-15)
• Threw 19.76m (64-10) in the shot put for the win at the Power Five Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb. 1)
• Threw a school-record 20.29m (66-6.75) in the shot put for the win at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational (Jan. 18), part of a series that saw him launch the five farthest throws in school history, including three farther than 20 meters. Also threw a career-best 18.63m (61-1.5) for third in the weight throw.
Senior (2018-19)
Outdoor Track & Field
• Finished 12th in the shot put at the USATF Outdoor Championships (July 26) -- and second-best among five collegians -- with a throw of 19.93m (65-4.75).
• Won the silver medal with a runner-up finish in the shot put at the 2019 World University Games (July 8), heaving a mark of 20.49m (67-2.75) for the second-farthest throw of his career to date.
• Broke his own shot put school record with a mark of 21.15m (69-4.75) to win the Michigan Throws Tune-Up (June 29), achieving the qualifying standards for both the 2019 IAAF World Championships and the 2020 Olympics with the throw.
• Finished runner-up in the shot put at the Ashland Summer Series #1 (June 20) with a mark of 19.87m (65-2.25) and at the Ashland Summer Series #2 (June 21) with a throw of 20.22m (66-4.25)
• Earned First-Team All-America honors with a throw of 19.52m (64-0.5) in the shot put for 8th at the NCAA Championships (June 5-8)
• Threw 20.04m (65-9) in the shot put for 2nd at the NCAA East Preliminaries (May 23-25), qualifying for his third-straight NCAA Outdoor Championships in the event.
• Claimed the bronze medal by throwing 19.91m (65-4) in the shot put for 3rd at the Big Ten Championships (May 10-12), scoring six team points for Michigan. Also finished 15th in the discus throw at 47.74m (156-7)
• Threw 19.99m (65-7) in the shot put for the win at the Len Paddock Open (May 3), and threw 50.10m (164-4) for 4th in the discus.
• Threw 20.23m (66-4.5) in the shot put for the win over reigning Olympic silver medalist Joe Kovacs at the Virginia Challenge (April 19-20) in the invitational section, launching five throws farther than 19.50m. Also threw 48.29m (158-5) to take 15th in the discus.
• Threw 19.21m (63-0.25) in the shot put for 6th at the Triton Invitational (April 12-13)
Indoor Track & Field
• Threw 19.18m (62-11.25) in the shot put for 13th at the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 8-9) to earn Second-Team All-America honors • Threw a school-record 19.67m (64-6.5) in the shot put for the win at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-23)
• Threw 19.62m (64-4.5) in the shot put for 3rd at the Music City Challenge (Feb. 8-9), and also threw 17.06m (55-11.75) for 19th in the weight throw.
• Threw 19.46m (63-10.25) in the shot put for the win at the Power Five Invitational (Feb. 1-2) for a new meet record.
• Threw 18.72m (61-5) in the shot put for 2nd at the Simmons-Harvey Big Ten Invitational (Jan. 19), and also threw 18.03m (59-2) for 4th in the weight throw.
• Threw a school-record 19.64m (64-5.25) in the shot put for the win at the Wolverine Invitational (Jan. 12) , and threw a career-best 18.38m (60-3.75) for 7th in the weight throw.

• Threw 18.88m (61-11.5) in the Shot Put for 16th at the USATF Championships (June 21-24)
• Earned Second-Team All-America honors with a throw of 19.19m (62-11.5) in the Shot Put for 14th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 6-9)
• Threw 19.92m (65-4.25) in the Shot Put for 3rd at the NCAA East Prelims (May 24-26) to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships
• Threw 19.46m (63-10.25) in the Shot Put to finish 3rd at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (May 11-13) to claim the bronze medal
• Threw a school-record 20.28m (66-6.5) in the Shot Put for the win at the National Relay Championships (April 27-28) and took 18th in the discus at 46.66m (153-1).
• Threw 19.13m (62-9.25) in the Shot Put to finish 3rd at the Texas Invitational (April 13-14) , while also throwing 47.84m (156-11) in the Discus to place 16th

Outdoor
• Earned a Big Ten bronze medal with a career-best 19.15m (62-10) in the Shot Put to finish 3rd at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (May 12-14), and finished 20th in the discus in 47.33m (155-3).
• Threw a career-best 52.42m (172-0) in the Discus to finish 5th at the Longhorn Invitational (Apr. 28-29), and finished 5th in the shot put at 17.54m (57-6.5). Also finished 12th in the hammer with a career-best 53.85m (176-8).
• Threw a career-best 18.24m (59-10.25) in the Shot Put to win the event title at the Battle of the Blues (Apr. 1). Also threw a career-best 47.35m (155-4) to finish 3rd in the discus and 51.16m (167-10) to finish 4th in the discus.
• Threw 52.55m (172-5) in the Hammer Throw to finish 11th at the Pac-12 vs. Big Ten Challenge (Mar. 24-25). Also finished 14th in the shot put at 16.43m (53-11) and 19th in the discus at 45.69m (149-11).
Indoor
• Threw 16.07m (52-8.75) in the Shot Put to finish 17th at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 24-25). Also finished 18th in the weight throw with a mark of 17.11m (56-1.75).
• Threw a career-best 17.28m (56-8.5) in the Weight Throw to finish 13th at the Spire Invitational (Feb. 10-11). Also finished 14th in the shot put at 16.34m (53-7.5).
• Threw a career-best 17.26m (56-7.5) in the Shot Put to win at the Akron Invitational (Feb. 3-4) in the Blue Division competition. Also finished sixth in the Blue Division weight throw.
• Threw a career-best 16.58m (54-4.75) in the Shot Put to finish 6th at the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 21). Also threw a career-best 16.82m (55-2.25) to finish ninth in the weight throw.
• Threw 16.35m (53-7.75) in the Shot Put to finish third at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational (Jan. 14). Also finished seventh in the weight throw at 16.46m (54-0)
