• Threw a school-record 69.30m (227-4) in the Hammer Throw to win the event title at the Longhorn Invitational (Apr. 28-29)
• Threw 68.00m (223-1) in the hammer to win the event title at the Texas Invitational (Apr. 14-15), headlining a series that featured six of the best seven throws of his career to that point
• Threw a Morris Williams Stadium-record 66.34m (217-8) in the Hammer Throw to win the event title at the Battle of the Blues (Apr. 1)
Indoor
• Earned USTFCCCA first-team All-America honors with a mark of 21.73m (71-3.5) in the Weight Throw to finish 7th at the NCAA Indoor Championships (Mar. 10-11).
• Threw a career-best 22.49m (73-9.5) in the Weight Throw to finish 2nd at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 24-25) after temporarily breaking his own school record in the second round at 22.15m. The record was ultimately twice bettered by teammate Grant Cartwright.
• Threw a then-school-record 22.11m (72-6.5) in the Weight Throw to win at the Spire Invitational (Feb. 10-11), breaking his U-M record for the third time this season.
• Threw 22.01m (72-2.5) in the Weight Throw to win at the Akron Invitational (Feb. 3-4) in the Gold Division, missing his school record by a single centimeter.
• Threw a then-school-record 22.02m (72-3) in the Weight Throw to win at the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 21). One of two throws that surpassed his previous school record.
• Won the weight throw in his season debut at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational (Jan. 14) with a mark of 21.05m (69-.75)
Sophomore (2016)
• Competed in his second international event at the British Championships (June 26), placing ninth with a throw of 63.92 meters (209-8.5 ft.)
Outdoor
• Competed in the NCAA Outdoor Championships to end his rookie season, finishing 17th for USTFCCCA Honorable Mention honors with his throw of 65.43 meters (214-8 ft.)
• Shattered the U-M record in the hammer at the NCAA East Preliminary Round (May 26), throwing 68.25 meters (223-11 ft.) on his final attempt to punch his NCAA Championships ticket
• Threw 63.75 meters (209-2 ft.) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (May 13), scoring with a sixth-place finish
• Set a PR 66.06 meters (216-9 ft.; No.2 all-time) to finish runner-up in the hammer at the Texas State Bobcat Classic (April 29)
• Threw 65.82 meters (215-11 ft.) to finish third in the hammer at the Jesse Owens Classic (April 22)
• Finished third in the hammer throw at the Tiger Track Classic (April 8) with a throw of 65.19 meters (213-10.5 ft.)

• Scored for U-M in the weight throw, finishing fourth with a personal record throw of 20.03 meters (65-8.5 ft) at the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 23)
• Won the weight throw event clearing 18.96 meters (62-02.50 ft.) at the Hillsdale Winter Opener (Jan. 9)
• Made U-M debut throwing a personal best 19.89 meters (65-3.25 ft.) for fifth place at the GVSU Holiday Open (Dec. 4)

• Threw in the British Under-20 Championships, winning a bronze medal with his throw of 67.54 meters (221-7 ft.)

• Set a new PR while competing unattached at U-M's Silverston Invitational (Feb. 21), throwing 57-4.75 ft. (17.49m)
