ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association and Pocock Racing Shells announced their All-America teams on Friday (June 5), with University of Michigan rower Madeleine Lauriault earning honorable mention recognition. The honor marks the first All-America accolade of Lauriault's career.
Lauriault was a part of U-M's first eight all season, leading the boat to fifth at the Big Ten Championships regatta on the way to the team's fourth-place finish. The 1V8 went on to place 13th at the NCAA Championships with the Wolverines taking 12th as a team, the program's 14th consecutive showing in the top 12.
Throughout her four years with the Wolverines, Lauriault has rowed with the 1V8, 2V8, 1V4 and 2V4. In 2024, she helped the 2V8 win a gold medal at the Big Ten Championships, and earned bronze in the same boat in 2025. Lauriault was also a member of the Big Ten Boat of the Week (March 25, 2025) from the 1V4. The 2026 season saw her stay with the first eight from the third, fifth and seventh seats, and win the NCAA Championships C final.
