ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 12-ranked University of Michigan water polo team (15-9) will close out the regular season at home on Saturday (April 4), welcoming No. 10 Indiana (15-7) to Canham Natatorium. First sprint is set for 1 p.m., as the Wolverines celebrate Senior Day and a Maize Out. Live stats will be available on FOSH, with streaming on B1G+.
Notes
• The Maize and Blue returns to action after a break, most recently earning an 18-6 win over St. Francis in its final regular-season conference contest.
• The Wolverines remain No. 12 in the CWPA national poll and are currently tied for first place in the conference standings alongside Harvard and Princeton.
• U-M is a perfect 4-0 at Canham Natatorium this season and will look to stay unbeaten at home heading into the CWPA Championship, which will also be hosted in Ann Arbor.
• Five seniors will be honored: captains Riley Chapple and Brooke Ingram, along with Claire Eusey, Lulu Hirschfield and Issy Jackson.
• The Wolverines turned in one of their strongest defensive efforts of the season against St. Francis, recording 12 field blocks and five steals.
• Ari Karampetsou leads the team with 88 points, including 58 goals on 91 shots for an impressive .637 shooting percentage—an improvement from last season's .555 mark. She totaled nine points (six goals, three assists) across Michigan's last two games.
• Harriet Dickens has continued her strong play, tallying two assists against St. Francis and a goal versus Princeton. She has already surpassed last season's total (18) with 29 points (15 goals, 14 assists).
• Saturday marks the only meeting between Michigan and Indiana this season. The Hoosiers claimed the last matchup in 2025, 14-11.
