
Maize and Blue Set for Raleigh Relays, Hurricane Collegiate Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team will remain on the road for a pair of meets, heading to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State and to the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational hosted by Miami on Friday and Saturday (March 27–28).
Notes
• Action at the Raleigh Relays will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday with the 1,500-meter run.
• Michigan opened its outdoor season at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational on March 20-21.
• In the 200-meter dash, Keyanna O'Tey ran 23.25 seconds to place fourth while Payton Smith ran 23.43 to finish just behind in fifth place. The times are personal bests as well as No. 3 and No. 7 on the program performers list, respectively.
• The 4x100-meter relay squad of Alyssa Bean, Smith, Myla Wilkes and O'Tey ran a time of 44.84 to finish sixth and come in at No. 6 on the program performers list.
• Elizabeth Tapper was named the Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week on Wednesday (March 25) after winning the shot put with a mark of 17.22 meters (56 feet, 6 inches), only 0.43 meters shy of her personal best. Trinity Franklin placed third with a personal best of 15.84m (51-11.75), the No. 8 mark on the program performers list.
• Sidney Green ran a personal best of 54.91 in the 400-meter dash.
• Bean, Green, Smith, and Trinity Henderson placed first with a time of 3:36.39 in the 4x400-meter relay.
• Emmry Ross and Sophie Cloutier are expected to make their outdoor debuts.
