ORLANDO, Fla. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team closed out the UCF Black and Gold Invitational on Saturday (March 21) at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex, setting a top-10 time in the 4x100-meter relay.
The relay squad of Alyssa Bean, Payton Smith, Myla Wilkes and Keyanna O'Tey finished with a time of 44.84 seconds to come in sixth and post the No. 6 time on the program performers list.
In the 800-meter run, Penelopea Gordon placed sixth with a time of 2:07.17 and Samantha Hastie finished just behind in seventh with a time of 2:07.46. Keaton Robar finished 11th (2:11.56) and Emily Cescon finished 14th (2:12.20).
Sidney Green ran a personal-best time of 54.91 in the 400-meter dash while Trinity Henderson and Sydney Glee finished 18th and 19th, respectively, both with a time of 55.88.
Bean, Green, Henderson and Smith finished first in the 4x400-meter relay (3:36.39).
The Maize and Blue will remain on the road, splitting between the Raleigh Relays at NC State from March 26-28 and the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational at Miami on March 27-28.
