• Michigan previously defeated Purdue 91-80 at Mackey Arena, taking control with a 16-0 first-half run and leading by as many as 20 points before the Boilermakers trimmed the margin late.
• Six Wolverines scored in double figures in that win, led by Cadeau's 17 points and seven assists. Lendeborg added 13 points and seven assists, while Trey McKenney and L.J. Cason each scored 13 points off the bench.
