
Harlan, Odenigbo Post Top-10 Program Marks at Razorback Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team opened the Razorback Invitational on Friday (Jan. 30) at the Randal Tyson Track Center with a pair of Wolverines setting top-10 program marks.
Chiamaka Odenigbo posted the No. 5 mark on the program performers list with 3,991 points and a sixth-place finish in the pentathlon. Her 800-meter run time of 2:24.40 is a personal best, while her point total is just 36 shy of her personal best.
Amare Harlan finished eighth in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 6.23 meters (20 feet, 5.25 inches), the No. 5 mark on the program performers list. Maya Anderson posted a 15th-place finish, jumping 5.84m (19-2) to come 0.05m short of her personal best.
Harlan ran in the 200-meter dash, finishing 25th with a time of 23.85 seconds. Payton Smith finished 32nd (23.91) and Keyanna O'Tey finished 42nd (24.35).
In the 800-meter run, Stephanie Bertram led a contingent of Wolverines with a second-place finish (2:06.52). Coraline Haggarty was next in eighth place with a season-best time of 2:08.41 and Penelopea Gordon placed 12th (2:08.63). Alyna Lewis (16th place, 2:09.42) and Samantha Hastie (17th place, 2:09.70) both posted season bests, while Hannah Pricco finished 19th with a personal-best time of 2:10.13.
The Wolverines will close out the Razorback Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 31), beginning at 10:20 a.m. CT with the 3,000-meter run.
