
Three Top-10 Marks Set at Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team closed out the Razorback Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 31) at the Randal Tyson Track Center, with three top-10 program marks being set.
Chyler Turner ran a personal-best 8.26 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles preliminaries to advance to the semifinals, where she ran another personal best (8.22) to finish 13th. The time is No. 5 on the program performers list.
In the mile run, Stephanie Bertram finished eighth with a time of 4:42.24, while Penelopea Gordon placed 10th (4:42.55), Samantha Hastie was 15th (4:46.86) and Hannah Pricco finished 17th (4:47.70). Bertram, Gordon and Pricco all logged personal bests, while Hastie posted a season-best time.
Emmry Ross earned a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run invitational section with a personal-best time of 2:03.10. The time is the No. 2 time on the program performers list and just 0.21 seconds shy of the program record.
A trio of Wolverines set personal bests in the 3,000-meter run, with Brooke Johnston's 21st-place finish (9:26.51) leading the contingent. Anjali Hocker Singh finished 25th with a time of 9:33.31 and Gabbie Michael finished 27th with a time of 9:38.09.
The 4x400-meter relay squad of Sidney Green, Trinity Henderson, Payton Smith and Ross placed 10th with a season-best time of 3:34.64, the No. 3 on the program performers list.
The Maize and Blue will return home to host the Michigan Invitational next Saturday (Feb. 7) at the U-M Indoor Track Building. The program's seniors will be recognized following the conclusion of the meet.
