Wolverines Boast Top-5 Recruiting Class for 2026

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's tennis team was recently announced as having the fourth-best 2026 recruiting class, according to Tennis Recruiting Network.
The incoming class consists of Gustavo Albieri, Naoto Tomizawa and Benjamin Azar, who all signed Big Ten Athletic Scholarship Agreements during the past signing period. Incoming transfers are not considered in the voting process.
Michigan has the top-ranked class in all of the Big Ten, and is trailing just Stanford, Texas A&M and Princeton. Following the Wolverines in the rankings are Ohio State (10), Illinois (15) and UCLA (20).
This marks Michigan's first top-five recruiting class since 2018.
