Jan. 21 -- Bella Sims
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week
» Bella Sims won all three events she competed in against Ohio State on Saturday (Jan. 17), taking first in the 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard IM.
» Sims ranks in the top 10 nationally in the three events she won over the weekend.
» The award marks Sims' third weekly honor and second conference honor of the season.
Jan. 14 -- Hannah Bellard
Big Ten Co-Swimmer of the Week
» Hannah Bellard set the school record in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:50.72 against Indiana on Jan. 9.
» The record time is also the best mark in the nation by more than a second.
» Bellard also took the top spot in the 500-yard freestyle against Indiana with a mark of 4:41.54.
Nov. 26 -- Bella Sims
Swimcloud Swimmer of the Week
» Bella Sims set two new school records at the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge.
» She broke the school record in the 100-yard backstroke (49.17 seconds) and in the 400-yard IM (3:58.02)
» Sims also was a part of two relay teams that set new program marks, the 200 and 400-yard medley relay.
Oct. 29 -- Bella Sims
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week
» Bella Sims won all four events she competed in on Saturday (Oct. 25) against Northwestern and No. 23 UCLA, including the 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle.
» Sims' backstroke time of 1:51.26 ranks fourth in the nation and qualifies for the NCAA Championships.
» The junior's 200-yard freestyle mark of 1:41.43 is second in the nation and the best time in the conference.
Sept. 23 -- Kiarra Milligan, Bella Sims
Big Ten Swimmer and Diver to Watch
» Bella Sims joins the Wolverines after two years at Florida. She is a two-time national champion and qualified for the 2020 Olympics and multiple World Aquatics Championships.
» Kiarra Milligan led the way for Michigan women's diving in 2024-25, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the one-meter and three-meter dives. She finished 16th in the three-meter event to earn All-America second-team recognition.
