ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association and Pocock Racing Shells announced All-America teams on Friday (June 6), with the University of Michigan rowing program represented by three honorees in second-team selections Katie Easton and Gabrielle Graves as well as honorable mention Logan Roeder.
This is Easton's third All-America recognition (second team in 2022, 2023) and the first for Graves and Roeder.
All three athletes were part of U-M's first eight all season, leading the boat to a bronze medal at the Big Ten Championship regatta on the way to the team's third-place finish. The 1V8 went on to place 12th at the NCAA Championships, with the Wolverines taking 11th as a team, the program's 13th consecutive showing in the top 12.
A team captain and program record-holder on the erg, Easton has been rowing in U-M's 1V8 since the postseason of her freshman year. The Melbourne, Australia, native is now a three-time All-American. Her leadership and on-water contributions have been critical to U-M's speed all season, leading to her fourth Big Ten medal with the 1V8. She has also been part of two Big Ten Championship teams at Michigan and is a three-time All-Big Ten honoree.
Graves, another key 1V8 rower who set a U-M record on the erg, has been a member of the boat since her freshman year. This spring, she earned first-team All-Big Ten recognition for her second career conference honor. Graves rowed in the second, fourth and fifth seats of the U-M first eight throughout the season. The 1V8's bronze medal at the Big Ten Championships was the fourth of her career (two gold, one silver), and she has been a member of two Big Ten Championship-winning rosters (2023, 2024).
As coxswain, Roeder has helmed the 2V8 and 1V8 boats throughout her three years with the Wolverines. In 2024, she coxed the gold medal-winning first eight at the Big Ten Championships to take home her second Big Ten team title. A member of the 1V8 through the entire 2025 season, Roeder's leadership on and off the water has been vital to the success of the boat and team.
