
Maize and Blue to Host Conference Crossover at Canham Natatorium

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 16-ranked University of Michigan water polo team (14-8, 6-2 CWPA) is set to host the seven-team Conference Crossover at Canham Natatorium this Saturday and Sunday (April 5-6).
U-M will kick off play on Saturday (April 5), facing Mercyhurst (5-19, 0-2 CWPA) at 1:30 p.m., followed by a matchup with No. 11 Princeton (15-6, 6-2 CWPA) in celebration of Pride Day. On Sunday (April 6), U-M will wrap up the tournament with a noon game against No. 20 Brown (14-12, 5-4 CWPA), honoring Michigan's three seniors on Senior Day, before concluding the home schedule with a 3 p.m. game against St. Francis (12-12, 2-6 CWPA). All of the Wolverines' games will be streamed live on B1G+.

• Michigan returns to the pool after a hard-fought 14-10 loss to No. 5 California, looking to build on strong individual performances.
• Junior Brooke Ingram recorded her third hat trick against the Golden Bears, bringing her goal total to 19.
• Ari Karampetsou earned CWPA Rookie of the Week honorable mention after an impressive performance against a top-five opponent, scoring three goals and adding two assists.
• After scoring twice against California, Ashley O'Neill reached her 20th goal of the season, securing her spot as one of the Wolverines' top-three goal scorers.
• Issy Jackson delivered a strong all-around performance against California, tallying one goal, four assists and four steals.
• After an 18-2 victory over Mercyhurst at the Wolverine Invitational, Michigan aims to remain undefeated against the Lakers. The Wolverines have won all 17 prior meetings.
• The Maize and Blue holds a 26-8 record in the all-time series against No. 11 Princeton and looks to bounce back from a narrow one-goal loss earlier this season.
• U-M seeks to extend its success against Brown after securing an 11-7 win in their most recent matchup to run its record against the Bears to 25-4.
• Preparing for just the fifth meeting in program history against St. Francis, the Wolverines look to maintain their perfect record.
