
Wolverines to Host No. 3 Buckeyes for Senior Day at Cliff Keen Arena

• Senior Day -- Michigan Men's Gymnastics will honor nine Wolverines following the meet against Ohio State.
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 7-ranked University of Michigan men's gymnastics team (6-3, 1-1 Big Ten) will close out its regular-season home slate on Saturday (March 15) at 2 p.m., when it hosts third-ranked Ohio State (4-2, 1-1 Big Ten) at Cliff Keen Arena. Nine graduate students and seniors will be honored after the meet as part of Senior Day festivities.
Notes
• Javier Alfonso, Syam Buradagunta, Paul Juda, Logan McKeown, Lais Najjar, Rithik Puri, Chris Read, Evgeny Siminiuc and David Wolma will be honored for Senior Day.
• The Wolverines are coming off a break from NCAA competition, last competing at No. 1 Oklahoma on Feb. 15 and finishing second of three teams with a season-high score of 326.400.
• At Oklahoma, junior Fred Richard earned a pair of event titles for the third time this season, winning on parallel bars (14.450) and high bar (14.300).
• Transfer Charlie Larson claimed his third floor exercise title of the season with a 14.300, just 0.050 points shy of tying his season high.
• Juda won the still rings title with a season-high score of 14.250.
• Larson is third in the nation and the conference on floor, averaging a 14.000, while freshman Aaronson Mansberger is eighth in the nation on pommel horse (13.867).
• The Maize and Blue is excelling on the parallel bars and high bar, ranking No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the NCAA. Richard is third in the nation on both the parallel bars (14.033) and high bar (13.833), with McKeown (14.017) ranking fourth on the parallel bars.
• The Buckeyes are second in the nation on floor, fourth on pommel horse, fourth on still rings and fifth on high bar. Kameron Nelson leads the nation on the floor exercise (14.083) and the vault (14.417).
