
Michigan Closes Out NCAA Zone Diving Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The University of Michigan men's and women's diving teams wrapped up competition at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships on Wednesday (March 12) at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
Both teams closed out the three-day meet on the platform tower. On the women's side, Kiarra Milligan and Alex Mercier both reached the final. Milligan finished 16th with a total score of 442.35, and Mercier took 18th overall with a tally of 412.85.
Grayson Davis and Logan Hepner represented the Michigan men on the platforms. Davis registered a score of 293.10, which was good for 20th overall. Hepner logged a total of 269.75 to take 23rd.
Next up, the U-M women's team will head to Federal Way, Wash., for the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, Wednesday through Saturday, March 19-22 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. The Wolverine men will compete in the NCAA Championships in the same location from Wednesday through Saturday, March 26-29.
