Notes
• Michigan returns to action after a 1-2 weekend in Providence, R.I., and Cambridge, Mass., where the Wolverines secured a victory over then-No. 24 Brown but came up short against then-No. 13 Princeton and then-No. 12 Harvard.
• Brooke Ingram was a key contributor to the Michigan offense this weekend, as the sophomore tallied a total of three goals while facing Brown and Harvard.
• Freshman goalkeeper Sophia Bunnell anchored the Wolverines' defense, making her presence felt in the net across all three contests. In her three starts, Bunnell recorded a total of 23 saves, showcasing her shot-stopping ability against highly ranked opponents.
• Issy Jackson and Ashley O'Neill provided a major offensive spark against Brown, each recording a hat trick to lead Michigan's scoring efforts. Their combined six goals were instrumental in securing the Wolverines' lone win of the weekend.
• Ari Karampetsou had a standout performance against Princeton, as the rookie striker found the back of the net five times in the game, applying consistent pressure on the Tigers' defense throughout the full 32 minutes of play.
• Looking ahead, Michigan will face Biola for just the second time in program history. The Wolverines last met the Eagles in 2023, dominating the contest with a decisive 14-0 victory.
• U-M will also square off against Loyola Marymount, a team they have not faced since 2019. In their last meeting, Michigan claimed an 11-9 victory. Historically, the Lions lead 15-9 in the all-time series.
• The Maize and Blue will battle Azusa Pacific, a team the Wolverines dominated in the past with a 3-0 lead in the all-time series.
• Closing out the tournament, Michigan will face San Diego State, a team it last defeated 13-5 during the 2023 season.
