SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team closed out the indoor regular season on Saturday (Feb. 22) at the Alex Wilson Invitational.

U-M sent a distance medley relay team to Notre Dame, with Samantha Hastie running the 1,200-meter leg, Coraline Haggarty running the 400-meter leg, Alyna Lewis running the 800-meter leg, and Rylee Tolson running the 1,600-meter leg. The Wolverines finished eighth with a time of 11:17.43.

The Maize and Blue will open the postseason at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 28-March 1).
