Wolverines Announce Three Additions to 2026-27 Roster

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's tennis head coach Sean Maymi announced Friday (Dec. 12) three newcomers set to join the team in the fall of 2026.

Gustavo Albieri | Campinas, Brazil

• Current UTR 12.52 and ranked No. 1,469 in ATP
• ITF Junior career-high ranking No. 68
• Reached quarterfinals of the M25 Salvador (October 2025)
• Won J60 Santo Domingo singles title (October 2024)
• Made the singles finals of the J200 Santa Cruz (October 2024)
• Reached the singles semifinals of the J300 Medellin in March 2025
• Doubles semifinals at Junior Pan American Games in August 2025 to earn the bronze medal
• Also reached semifinals in doubles at J200 Gladbeck (June 2025), J300 Barranquilla (January 2025), J100 Londrina (July 2024) and J100 Salvador (November 2023)
• Competed at the Roland Garros Junior Championship (June 2025)
