SOUTH BEND, Ind. --Â Marcus Reilly represented the University of Michigan men's cross country team at the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Friday (Oct. 3).
Reilly sat in 58th place through the first kilometer before dropping to 87th at the 3k mark. The sophomore slipped to 110th heading into the final two kilometers, then moved up 11 spots to finish 99th in 24:31.3.
Jonathan Miles also competed but did not finish the race.
The Wolverines will return to action on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis.
