March 26 -- Reese Miller, Emily Sartz-Lunde
Big Ten Player of the Week
» Reese Miller was named the Big Ten Player of the Week after helping Michigan to wins at No. 24 UCLA and No. 16 USC.
» Miller clinched both matches, winning a pair of matches at the No. 6 position.
» Against UCLA, she recorded a 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 win over Olivia Center. Miller clinched the match the next day at USC as well, knocking off Maia Sung, 6-4, 6-4
» It is the second time this season that Miller has been named the Player of the Week.
Big Ten Freshman of the Week
» Emily Sartz-Lunde was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the third time this season after going 2-0 in singles and 1-0 on the doubles court in Michigan's wins at No. 24 UCLA and No. 16 USC.
» Against the Bruins, she knocked off No. 64 Elise Wagle in straight sets (6-3, 6-1).
» Sartz-Lunde was able to get off court in two sets for Michigan's third point at USC, recording a 6-2, 7-6 (3) win over No. 82 Immi Haddad.
» Sartz-Lunde also teamed up with Piper Charney to clinch the doubles point for Michigan with a 7-6 (2) win at No. 2.
March 19 -- Julia Fliegner, Emily Sartz-Lunde
Big Ten Player of the Week
» Julia Fliegner was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the sixth time in her career after helping Michigan to a 2-0 record last weekend with wins over No. 10 Ohio State and Penn State.
» She accounted for the deciding point in Michigan's come-from-behind win over No. 10 Ohio State, rallying for a 5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-1 win over No. 7-ranked Luciana Perry at No. 1 singles.
» With the win, she moved to 10-0 on the season in dual matches.
» She teamed up with Reese Miller to go 2-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Big Ten Freshman of the Week
» Emily Sartz-Lunde was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after going 2-0 in singles as Michigan picked up wins over No. 10 Ohio State and Penn State.
» She put Michigan's second point on the board against the No. 10-ranked Buckeyes with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 4 over No. 87-ranked Shelly Bereznyak.
» Sartz-Lunde followed that up with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Penn State's Patricia Grigoras at No. 3, the highest she has played in the lineup in her career.
» It is the second time this season she has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Feb. 12 -- Julia Fliegner
Big Ten Player of the Week
» Julia Fliegner was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the fifth time in her career after helping Michigan to a 2-1 record at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.
» She went 2-0 at No. 1 singles with wins over No. 13-ranked Julia Garcia Ruiz (Oklahoma) and No. 71 Sabina Zeynalova (Texas).
» Fliegner picked up the 100th singles win of her career with the victory over Garcia Ruiz, becoming the 11th Wolverine to reach that mark.
» She teamed up with Reese Miller to go 2-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Feb. 5 -- Jessica Bernales
Big Ten Freshman of the Week
» Jessica Bernales was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after helping Michigan to a 2-0 week with wins over No. 5 Virginia and No. 21 Florida.
» She went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles with Piper Charney.
» Against No. 5 Virginia, she put up the third point of the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win over No. 94 Martina Genis Salas at No. 6
» In Michigan's win over No. 21 Florida, Bernales picked up a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Noémie Oliveras at No. 6.
» Combined with Charney to clinch the doubles point for Michigan against the Gators, winning 7-5 at No. 1.
Jan. 29 -- Piper Charney
Big Ten Player of the Week
» Piper Charney was named the Big Ten Player of the Week after helping Michigan qualify for the ITA National Team Indoor Championship with wins over Yale and UC Santa Barbara.
» Charney went 2-0 in singles action, dropping just eight games across two matches.
» She played at No. 2 singles, the highest she has ever played in the lineup, picking up a 6-1, 6-3 win over Yale's Julia Werdiger and a 6-1, 6-3 victory over UCSB's Marie Weissheim.
» Charney teamed up with freshman Jessica Bernales to go 1-1 at No. 1 doubles. The pair knocked off No. 9-ranked Amelia Honer and Marie Weissheim of UCSB 6-2 as U-M won the doubles point.
» It is the second time in her career that Charney has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week (Feb. 14, 2024).

Big Ten Player of the Week
» Reese Miller was named the Big Ten Player of the Week for the first time in her career after going 3-0 in both singles and doubles at the Michigan Invitational (Jan. 10-12).
» She knocked off No. 46 Audrey Spencer of Ohio State in three sets, rallying after dropping the first in a 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory.
» Miller also picked up wins over Marta Komar of Eastern Michigan (6-1, 6-2) and Texas Tech's Elena Daskalova (6-3, 6-3).
» She teamed up with Julia Fliegner for a 3-0 record in doubles, getting wins over Ohio State, Michigan State and her teammates from Michigan.

» Emily Sartz-Lunde was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week, a new honor added this year by the conference.
» Sartz-Lunde went 3-0 in both singles and doubles at the Michigan Invitational (Jan. 10-12).
» She picked up singles wins over Ohio State's Alessia Cau (6-4, 2-6, 7-5), Texas Tech's Arina Oreshchenkova (6-2, 2-6, 6-2) and Michigan State's Amara Brahmbhatt (6-3, 6-0).
» Sartz-Lunde teamed up with Lily Jones to go 3-0 on the doubles court with victories over Ohio State, Texas Tech and Eastern Michigan.
» She is the first Wolverine to be named Freshman of the Week.
