Adam Coon fell in his Olympic debut at 130kg Greco-Roman, dropping a 3-1 decision to Iran's reigning world champion Amin Mirzazadeh in the opening round. He was eliminated when Mirzazadeh lost his quarterfinal bout 3-1 to Cuba's nine-time Olympic/world champion Mijaín López. Stevan Micic, the reigning world champion at 57kg freestyle, announced early Monday morning that he was withdrawing from the Olympic competition due to a knee injury. » Full update
