The University of Michigan men's track and field team had another successful season on the track, earning 11 Big Ten medals, setting five program records and claiming three Big Ten titles.

Individual Highlights
• Tom Brady opened the season with a bang, besting the 5,000-meter run program record that he set in 2023 with a new standard of 13:33.83 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in December.
• A trio of Wolverines went on to set three records in the same weekend in February, as Dubem Amene broke his 400-meter dash record from 2022 (46.04 seconds) by running 45.75 at the Tiger Paw Invitational, Nick Foster set the mile run record (3:54.48), and Brady once again bested his 5,000-meter record (13:24.16) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
• The records continued to fall as the regular season came to a close, with the distance medley relay team of Trent McFarland, Amene, Miles Brown and Foster set a new standard of 9:19.33 at the Alex Wilson Invitational.
• At the Big Ten Indoor Championships, McFarland, Amene, Brown and Foster took home silver in the DMR (9:43.96). The team was just 0.01 seconds behind-first-place Wisconsin.
• Brady claimed a pair of medals on the weekend, finishing third in the 5,000-meter run (13:58.15) and in the 3,000-meter run (7:57.85). Amene and Foster also earned a second individual medal, with Amene finishing third in the 400-meter dash (46.34) and Foster finishing third in the third in the mile (4:06.22).
• Amene (DMR, 400-meter dash), Brady (5,000-meter run), Brown (DMR), Foster (mile, DMR) and McFarland (DMR) all advanced to the NCAA Indoor Championships. Foster's ninth-place finish in the mile led the team's effort.
• In the outdoor season, Brady continued to have record-setting performances. His 10,000-meter run time of 28:21.89 broke the previous record of 28:25.94 set by Bill Donakowski in 1978.
• Three Wolverines earned individual Big Ten titles at the 2024 Outdoor Championships. Brady won his second straight 10,000-meter run title (29:19.27), while Amene (400-meter dash, 45.92) and McFarland (1,500-meter run, 3:43.59) earned their first career titles.
• Foster (1,500-meter run, 3:43.64) and Luke Venhuizen (5,000-meter run, 13:58.27) took home silver medals. Caleb Jarema earned his first conference medal with a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (8:45.42).
• Thirteen Wolverines earned spots at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, with five advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Brady (10,000-meter run, 29:16.82) and Jake Wall (long jump, 7.55m) qualified on day one, with Foster (1,500-meter run, 3:45.79), Jarema (3,000-meter steeplechase, 8:41.33), and Zane Forist (discus throw, 56.32m) qualifying on the final day.
• At the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Brady's 15th place finish in the 10,000-meter run (28:44.35) and Forist's 14th place finish in the discus throw (57.38m) led the way for the Wolverines.
