Eleven Wolverines Earn WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced its 2020-21 Academic All-American and team Academic Award winners Wednesday (Aug. 11) with 11 University of Michigan gymnasts earning their way onto the list with a grade-point average of 3.50 or above.

Senior Lauren Farley earned the honor for the fourth time in her career, while Anna Dayton, Anne Maxim and Natalie Wojcik earn the honor for the third straight year.

Junior Abby Brenner along with sophomores Sierra Brooks, Abbie Gaies, Nicoletta Koulos and Gabby Wilson are now two-time Academic All-America honorees, while Abby Heiskell and Naomi Morrison notched the honor for the first time in their careers.

The Wolverines had a successful year in the gym and in the classroom as seven gymnasts were named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars and 10 earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
