
Wolverines to Face Central Florida in Sunday Matinee at Crisler

» Michigan hosts its third straight non-conference game when it welcomes Ball State to Crisler Center.
» Ball State is the second Mid-American Conference team U-M has played this season. The Wolverines defeated Bowling Green, 96-82, is the season opener (Nov. 25).
» Isaiah Livers leads U-M with 19.5 points per game and is shooting 57.7 percent from the field and 53.3 percent from long range.
» Hunter Dickinson has posted three straight double-figure performances to start his career.
» Michigan has collected 20 assists or more in back-to-back games with 24 against Oakland and 23 against Bowling Green. U-M had four total all of last season.

The University of Michigan men's basketball team closes the week hosting Central Florida at on Sunday (Dec. 6) at Crisler Center on Sunday, Dec. 6. The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start and will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network with Chris Vosters (p-by-p) and Christy Winters Scott (analyst) as the broadcast crew.

Who Are the Central Florida Knights?
• Central Florida comes to Ann Arbor with a 1-0 record after defeating Auburn, 63-55, in its season opener (Nov. 30). The Knights were supposed to open the season against Oklahoma (Nov. 28), but the game was canceled to COVID-19 issues.
• UCF welcomes four transfers -- sophomore forward C.J. Walker (Oregon), senior guard Darius Perry (Louisville), junior forward Sean Mobley (Virginia Commonwealth) and Moses Bol (Colby Community College), who is a distant cousin current Denver Nuggets center Bol Bol and the late Manute Bol.
• In the Knights' opening win against Auburn, UCF held the Tigers to 32.3 percent shooting and 20.6 percent from three-point range. UCF recorded 12 steals and scored 14 points off of 22 Auburn turnovers. The Knights had six players score eight points or more with Dre Fuller Jr. (13), Brandon Mahan (12) and Darin Green Jr. (10) in double figures.
The Series with Central Florida
• This is the first meeting between Michigan and Central Florida in program history.
• It is the first of a home-&-home series as the Wolverines will travel to Orlando next season.
Last Time on the Hardwood
• Coming out of the gates strong, Michigan built a 20-point first half lead against Ball State (Dec. 2) and went on to an 84-65 victory in the third non-conference game of the season.
• Despite the Cardinals chipping away to trim the lead to just five to start the second half, the Wolverines used hot shooting to rebuild their lead to as much as 25 as they cruised to victory.
• For a second straight game, Isaiah Livers reached the 20-point plateau with 21, shooting 8-for-11 from the field while adding three rebounds, two assists and a steal.
• Franz Wagner scored in double figures for the first time this season with 14 points on 4-for-6 from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line. He grabbed six rebounds, giving him three straight games with six rebounds or more.
• Hunter Dickinson made it three straight games in double figures with his 12 points. He added a career-best 11 rebounds helping him to his first career double-double.
• Overall, U-M shot 55.9 percent from the field and scored 42 points in the paint for the third consecutive game. U-M also reached 40-plus rebounds (41) for a third straight game.

• Michigan is averaging 87.0 points per game after scoring 80 points or more in all three games this season.
• The Wolverines are shooting 52.2 percent from the field (95-for-182).
• U-M has posted three straight games of 40 or more rebounds and is averaging 43.3 per game.
• U-M has recorded three straight games of scoring 42 points in the paint.
• Michigan posted back-to-back games with 20-plus assists -- Bowling Green (23) and Oakland (24) -- averaging 19.7 per game. Last season, U-M had four total.
• The Wolverine have three double-figure scorers -- Isaiah Livers (20.0), Hunter Dickinson (14.0) and Chaundee Brown Jr. (11.0). Livers and Dickinson have scored in double figures in all three games -- with Livers posting two straight 20-plus point outings.
• Franz Wagner leads U-M with 8.3 rebounds per game, with Hunter Dickinson second at 7.7 per game.

• With his start against Oakland (Nov. 29), Eli Brooks played in his 101st game at Michigan, becoming the 73rd Wolverine to play at least 100 games.
• Isaiah Livers (99) needs just one more game played to reach 100 in his Michigan career.
• Mike Smith (95) needs five more games to reach 100 in his collegiate career.
• Franz Wagner has started every game in his career (30). It should be noted he missed the first four games of 2019-20 recovering from a fractured wrist.
• Chaundee Brown Jr. needs 91 points to reach 1,000 in his collegiate career.
• Isaiah Livers needs 254 points to reach 1,000 in his U-M career.
• Mike Smith needs 319 points to reach 2,000 in his collegiate career and needs 92 assists to reach 500.
• Isaiah Livers is 5-for-5 this season on free throws and has made 41 straight from the charity stripe. He led U-M with a 95.7 free-throw percentage (44-for-46) last season and was a perfect 34-for-34 in Big Ten play.
