Game Notes Nuggets
• In the early going, the Michigan offense has spread the ball around effectively. Six different players have carried the ball, plus three quarterbacks, with three different Wolverines scoring touchdowns on the ground through two games: Zach Charbonnet (three), Dylan McCaffrey (one) and Ben VanSumeren (one).
• Michigan's last time out, Charbonnet became U-M's first true freshman back with 100 rushing yards or more in a single game since Chris Evans (2016). Prior to Evans, Brandon Minor (2006) was the last to do it.
• Charbonnet's 33-carry afternoon marks the most carries by a true freshman back since Mike Hart in 2004. Hart was also the last U-M back with three scores in a game before Charbonnet did that against Army.

• Last time out defensively, U-M held Army to its lowest yards per play average since 2015, limiting the Black Knights to just 3.7 yards per offensive snap.
