Wolverines in the NCAA Tournament
• Michigan will make its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and ninth overall.
• The Wolverines are the No. 6 seed and will be matched against No. 3 seed UCLA. The Bruins own a 22-0 all-time record against Michigan, including two wins this season (9-7 on Jan. 20;  15-5 on Feb. 23).
• U-M is 6-13 all-time in the NCAA Tournament with its last win coming in 2016 when the Wolverines defeated Arizona State, 5-4, to reach the NCAA Semifinals before finishing fourth in the nation.
• The NCAA Tournament went to a single-elimination format in 2017. U-M has lost in the quarterfinals each of the last two seasons against No. 3 USC in 2017 and No. 3 Cal in 2018.
• Head coach Dr. Marcelo Leonardi will be making his fourth appearance in five years with the Wolverines and owns a 1-4 record in the tournament.
• U-M has a 4-7 record against teams in the 2019 NCAA Tournament with three wins against No. 7 Pacific and one over No. 14 UC San Diego.
