» The University of Michigan women's golf team used team tallies of 297 and 294 to total a 591 and position itself tied for third with host Ohio State at the Lady Buckeye Invitational.
» After opening with a U-M best round of the day at 71 (-1), sophomore Ashley Kim followed with a 75 in the day's second 18 and is tied for sixth at 146 -- five shots back of the individual lead.
» Freshman Ashley Lau opened with a 74 and followed with an even-par 72 to put her in a tie for sixth (146) with teammate Kim.
» U-M will play with Indianapolis and Illinois during Sunday's final round, starting off holes 5-9 in the 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
