Prior to Plocki, the Wolverines only competed in the NCAA Championship one time, winning the NCAA Regional and placing 10th overall in 1982.
This marks the ninth time Michigan will host a NCAA Regional and first since 2016. U-M has won five of the previous eight and advanced to the NCAA Championship seven of those eight years. Â
The 2019 Wolverines won both the regular season and Big Ten Championships. The Wolverines finished 9-0 in conference meets and claimed the 25th conference title in program history on Saturday (March 23). Three gymnasts won a total of four individual Big Ten titles en route to a score of 197.400.
