FULLERTON, Calif. -- Rain and wet conditions prevented the University of Michigan softball team from taking the field for its day-two games at the Judi Garman Classic on Saturday (March 2). The Wolverines' slates against No. 7 Tennessee and No. 20 Oregon are cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
The games are the first lost to weather this season for the Wolverines.
Michigan's schedule remains unchanged for the final day at the Judi Garman event Sunday (March 3). The Wolverines will face No. 5 Washington at 9 a.m. PST and Cal State Northridge at 2 p.m. PST at Anderson Family Field.
The Wolverines are coming off their best win of the 2019 season yesterday (March 1), when they defeated No. 2 UCLA, 3-1, behind a sixth-inning rally.
