Record: 9-9-1, 5-5-1 Big Ten (Tie-7th place)
Under the direction of first-year head coach Jennifer Klein, the University of Michigan women's soccer team notched a 9-9-1 overall record and a 5-5-1 Big Ten record to secure the final spot in the Big Ten Tournament.

Team Highlights
•Michigan got out to a quick 3-0 start to the season, defeating Boston University, Western Michigan and Marquette at U-M Soccer Stadium.
•U-M shut out five opponents (Western Michigan, Purdue, No. 17 Wisconsin, Ohio State and Michigan State) during the 2018 season, four of which came against Big Ten foes.
•The Wolverines defeated Central Michigan, 6-1, marking the most goals scored in a match since the Maize and Blue defeated Eastern Michigan, 8-1, on Aug. 21, 2015.
•Michigan earned a 2-0 victory over No. 17 Wisconsin for its lone win over a ranked opponent. The win over the Badgers marked the second straight time Michigan defeated a ranked Wisconsin; the first came on Sept. 24, 2017, when the Wolverines took down the Badgers in double overtime.
•U-M scored 30 goals on the season from nine different players, with four players tallying two goals or more.
•The Wolverines earned the final spot in the Big Ten Tournament and traveled to No. 16 Penn State, where Michigan eventually fell, 1-0, in the closing minutes to end the 2018 campaign.
