With the team's top squad resting ahead of its attempt to defend the Wolverines' Big Ten title next weekend (Oct. 28) in Lincoln, Nebraska, four Wolverines competed in uniform Friday against runners from the likes of Michigan State, Eastern Michigan and other teams around the region.
Three Wolverines finished inside the top 10 individually, led by redshirt freshman Christian Hubaker in fourth place. Hubaker covered the five-kilometer (3.11-mile) course at Hudson Mills Metropark just north of Dexter, Michigan, in 15:22.2.

The men's championship race will begin at 11:45 a.m. CDT over the eight-kilometer (4.97-mile) course at Mahoney Golf Course. The women's championship race, featuring the two-time defending champion Wolverine women, precedes the men's competition at 10:45 a.m. CDT.
