
Knight, Malik Garner B1G All-Conference Accolades

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- University of Michigan men's tennis senior Jathan Malik and junior Alex Knight were named All-Big Ten first team selections on Thursday (April 27), while junior Carter Lin was chosen as one of 12 Sportsmanship Award honorees, as selected by the conference's coaches.
Malik finished the regular season with an 18-8 singles record while going 6-2 in Big Ten play -- all in the No. 1 spot. The England native also had an overall doubles record of 21-11.
Knight had a team-leading 22-9 overall record in the regular season and a 10-1 mark in conference play. He also compiled an 18-5 record in doubles action.
Lin registered a 16-3 record in dual-match play while going 9-3 in Big Ten action and is currently riding a five-match winning streak.
Michigan will begin postseason play tomorrow (Friday, April 28) at 2 p.m., when the second-seeded Wolverines take on No. 7 seed Penn State in the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten Tournament at Purdue (West Lafayette, Ind.).
