» After opening with a 290 first-round total, U-M rallied in the second with a 282 to move into sixth after 36 holes of Alabama's Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate.
» Kyle Mueller remains red hot and is in medalist contention just two shots off the lead after opening with a 137 (68-69, -3) total.
» Nick Carlson joins Mueller among the medalist contenders, as he is three shots back after his 138 (68-70, -2) first-day performance.
