• Father, Tim, was selected in the second round of the 1982 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He played nine years professional hockey between the AHL, IHL, OHL and NHL, including 55 games for Pittsburgh during parts of the 1982-83 and 1983-84 seasons
