Q. Why did you choose the University of Michigan?
A. The culture of athletics and the university as a whole. The general love and admiration for the school. It is all encompassing. I loved the spirit and nowhere else that I visited had that.
Q. How did you get started playing water polo?
A. I started in elementary school with a neighborhood or subdivision league. It was a casual thing to start, and then I was fortunate enough to have a good high school program. I joined a club after that.
Q. What are your plans for after you graduate?
A. I am thinking about marketing or advertising. Working in an ad agency interests me.
Q. How did you spend your summer?
A. I have interned the last two summers at the Ace Hardware Corporate Headquarters doing brand management for the private label.
Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
A. I am the graphics person for the South Campus Times newspaper and am also in the Marketing and Sales Club.
Q. Who do you call after a bad day?
A. My mom or my dad depending on what happened.
Q. What is your song of choice for karaoke?
A. Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Q. If there was a movie about you, who would you want to portray you?
A. Emma Stone
Q. What is your favorite Michigan sporting event to attend?
A. Football and swim meets
Q. What website do you visit the most?
A. Google Maps. I am bad with directions.
Q. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy?
A. A jet ski
Q. Why is Michigan special to you? (From teammate Allison Skaggs)
A. Michigan is special to me because it has been my home for the last four years. It has allowed me to be a part of not only an amazing team but also to establish great friendships and connections, get a great education and to grow overall as a person. It is a part of my life that will not leave me even though I am graduating this spring, because it really is an amazing university.
