Michigan Head Coach Red Berenson
On Zach Hyman's big night ... "It's good to see a guy like Zach Hyman light it up like this. He's been a hard-working team player for three years now, and he's a senior, so good for him because he's earned it."
On the team coming together on the road ... "We were able to bring everyone on this trip, and I think it's good for the team. But you still have to go out and do it, and our guys did it. There was a question whether this was our best game. Well, that was our best game. Now we've got to tighten up defensively."
On the success of the Kile-Larkin-Hyman line ... "I think it's a little bit of everything. It's confidence, that youthful enthusiasm and don't forget Alex Kile. He made a great play on one of those goals. He got us started in that game. They've just got something going now. That's why you have lines together. You try to get something going with that group. So it's good to get a line going.
U-M Senior Forward Zach Hyman
On his big night ... "It was a pretty good feeling. It was my first my first hat trick of my college career. I have to give a lot of credit to my linemates. We've played together now since the beginning of the year. So Dylan, myself and Alex have really gelled, and I think it was due. It was good to get on board today."
On winning despite giving up four goals ... "It was pretty back and forth game up until the second period. We didn't have a commanding lead until the third period. We'd score one then they'd score one. You don't want to be in a game like that. You want to score and then keep the lead."
U-M Freshman Forward Dylan Larkin
On scoring his first goal at Michigan ... "It was a pretty lucky one. We were playing fast and moving the puck. We got on the forecheck and created a lot of turnovers."
