Guttman had a hand in the fourth goal, receiving a pass from senior Bryn Bain (Berlin, N.J./Eastern Regional) and feeding to sophomore Rachael Mack (Bromsgrove, England/Bromsgrove School), who put her shot in the left corner to make it 4-0 at 57:44. Q U O T E S
Michigan Head Coach Marcia Pankratz
On getting shutouts in back-to-back games this weekend ... "I think we had some strong play from our goalkeepers. Christi (Barwick) and Haley (Jones) had some great saves throughout the weekend. I think our defense is very experienced. Our backfield players are seniors along with freshman Aline Fobe. Jess (Allen), Hannah (Dawson) and Eileen (Brandes) have been playing with each other for a very long time. They are smart, experienced and really good. That solid unit is the foundation for good defense."
