• With the win over Michigan State, Michigan improves to 19-12 (9-9 Big Ten).
• Michigan swept the season series over Michigan State for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
• Michigan improves to 93-74 (*86-71) all-time against the Spartans.
• Since starting the conference slate 1-6, Michigan won 8 of its last 11 Big Ten games.
• The Wolverines have won their last three home regular-season finales.
• The Wolverines were led in scoring by freshman Tim Hardaway Jr., who scored 20 points (6-of-13 FG, 2-of-6 3-pt., 6-of-8 FT), all in the second half. He also added three assists and two rebounds.
• Hardaway has scored in double figures in 12 straight and 16 out of his last 17 games. He has led the Wolverines in scoring in 10 games this season.
