• Michigan and Michigan State met for the 280th time, an NCAA Division I all-time high. Michigan's all-time record against its CCHA rival now stands at 139-123-18.
• The Wolverines captured their first regulation win in more than a month (last Nov. 5 vs. Western Michigan).
• U-M has now won two straight one-goal games after losing its first five.
• Michigan is 7-0-2 when leading after two periods and 8-1-0 when scoring four or more goals this season.
• The Wolverines wore their maize jerseys tonight for the fifth time this season. The Maize and Blue is 4-1-0 when donning its alternate jerseys.

• Fifth-year senior goaltender Shawn Hunwick made his 19th straight start this season and turned aside 31-of-34 shots in his ninth win of the season.
• Tonight marked the fourth sellout in the past five games at Yost Ice Arena, with an attendance of 6,637.
