Michigan hosted Union in the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Bennett's two assists give him 10 for the season, moving into a two-way tie with junior defenseman Lee Moffie for the team best.
Freshman forward Phil Di Giuseppe potted a goal for Michigan's first marker in the second period. Di Giuseppe has seven goals this season, moving into a two-way tie with Guptill for the team lead.
