Series Notes
Michigan improves to 64-26-10 vs. WMU. The Wolverines have won eight straight games at Lawson Ice Arena for a 25-13-8 line in Kalamazoo.
Team Notes
Michigan set a season high with 47 shots on goal. U-M has posted 40-plus shots in three straight games.
Special Teams Notes
Michigan posted a season-high four power-play goals, the most for U-M since Feb. 13, 2009, vs. Nebraska-Omaha. U-M has a power-play goal in 10 of last 11 games.
Individual Notes
Brandon Burlon tallied a career-high three points with a goal and two assists. Tonight marked his first multi-point game of the season and the sixth of his career.
Lindsay Sparks posted a goal and two assists for a personal-best three points. The freshman has points in back-to-back games for the first time in his career (3-2-5).
Steve Kampfer notched a career-high three points on a goal and two assists. It was his second multi-point game of the season and the sixth of his career.
Kampfer broke a four-way tie for the team lead in points by a defenseman. He now has a 1-10-11 on the season.
Carl Hagelin's assist today extended his point streak to three games (1-4-5). The helper gives him sole possession of the team lead in assists (11). He also leads U-M in goals (10) and points (21).
