ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Senior diver Stephanie O'Callaghan (Howell, Mich./Howell) of the University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team was named Big Ten Diver of the Week after sweeping both diving events at the EMU Invitational last weekend (Dec. 4-5). O'Callaghan earned season bests on both the one-meter (290) and three-meter (301) boards.

O'Callaghan's performances helped lead Michigan to its seventh straight first-place finish at the EMU Invite. The Wolverines scored 1,123 points in the meet, their highest point total in the event since 2006.

It is the first weekly laurel for O'Callaghan and second for a U-M diver this season. Sophomore Amanda Lohman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) won the award on Oct. 27.
